About
Dark Oneironautic is the independent music project, focused on dark ambient, cinematic, atmospheric and instrumental music while Allen Mcronov is focused on modern classic cinematic style. The project explores music as a form of visual storytelling, creating atmospheric soundscapes inspired by loneliness, rain, abandoned places, memory, melancholy, darkness and psychological tension. A strong cinematic and soundtrack-oriented character is present throughout the work. The project’s releases include Nightmare Life, a dark ambient and cinematic horror album released through Depressive Illusion Records, and upcoming album Where Memories Fade under project Allen McRonov, a contemporary classical / ambient project centered around piano, violin, melancholy and atmospheric soundscapes. The aim of Dark Oneironautic is to create immersive instrumental music that can function both as standalone listening and as a soundtrack to imagined films, games and visual stories.
